This course will give you a taste of traditional jewellery making skills over the two days. Techniques covered include piercing, filing, texturing, annealing, forming, soldering, finishing and polishing
The course will give you a great introduction to the subject and you will leave with 2-3 pieces of jewellery
You will create 3-4 pieces of jewellery, including a pierced pendant, an iopen, un-soldered ring, a simple band ring and some silver wire stacking rings.
All materials will be provided.
You will be taught through demonstration, handouts and individual practice
Your tutor will work with you as a group and as individuals to support and guide you through your learning
We will supply all the tools and equipment needed for jewellery making.
Copper and silver will be provided for this course
